3D2/R - "BJ", WA7WJR has been QRV as 3D2BJ from Rotuma (OC-060) since 3
July and was expected to set sail for Viti Levu, Fiji on 11 July
[425DXN 1679]. His departure has been postponed, however, owing to
bad weather conditions. He will now remain on Rotuma until 17 or 18

9A - Look for 9A7YY, 9A/S53Z, 9A/S54W, 9A/S58MU, 9A/S50O and 9A/S50X to
be active from Vis Island (EU-016) from 24 July and 1 August. They
will operate CW and SSB on 80-10 metres, and will also be active
during the IOTA Contest. QSLs via the bureau, eQSL, or direct to

F - F4FET, F4HHL, F5RAB and F8GGV will participate in the IOTA Contest
as TM5K from Ouessant Island (EU-065). Before the contest they will
operate SSB, CW, RTTY and FT8 on 80-6 metres. QSL via F8GGV. [TNX

GM - Nobby, G0VJG and Emil, DL8JJ will return to Rockall (EU-189) to
collect the equipment that has remained there since Cam Cameron was
rescued by the Coastguard and flown back to dry land [425DXN 1678].
"Weather and seas permitting they hope to arrive by possibly 18
July at the earliest, but subject to change", DX World reports.
"Should the weather and swell conditions around the islet be
favourable, both Nobby and Emil will operate as MM0UKI for 90
minutes each - total of three hours operating time - on CW and SSB
only".
I - II3GR is the special callsign for the annual YOTA Camp organized by
ARI Grado. This year it will took place on Volpera Island (not
IOTA) on 20-23 July, including participation in the second session
of the YOTA Contest (22 July, 1000-2159 UTC). QSL via IV3CTT.
I - Seven operators (IK7WDS, IU7EHF, IW7DMH, IW7DOL, IZ7AUH, IZ7LDC and
IZ8EGM) will be active as IJ7DX (IOTA Contest included) and IJ7SAT
(on QO-100, LEO and MEO satellites) from San Pietro Island (EU-073)
on 28-30 July. QSL via Club Log's OQRS.
IS0 - Giuseppe, IK5WWA will be active as IM0C from San Pietro Island (EU-
165) on 16-30 July. He will be QRV on 40-2 metres, hopefully also
on 80m. QSL via home call.
JA - Look for Kenji, JA4GXS to be active as JA4GXS/6 from Uji Island
(AS-067) on 22 July (4-21 UTC). He will operate CW, SSB and FT8 on
40, 30, 20 and 6 metres. QSL via home call, direct or bureau. [TNX

OH - Jarno, OH6NJ will be active as OH6NJ/8 from Hailuoto Island (EU-
184) on 24-31 July. He will operate CW, SSB and FT8 mainly on the

OZ - Ron, DL1RNW will be active as OZ/DL1RNW from Sandkas (WWL JO75jg)
on Bornholm Island (EU-030) from 23 July to 5 August. He will be
QRV on the HF bands and 6 metres. QSL via eQSL.
SM - Members of EDR Ballerup will be active as SM7/OZ5BAL from Ven
Island (EU-137) on 28-30 July, including participation in the IOTA
Contest. Before the contest they will be QRV on 30, 17 and 12m, and
will also operate digital modes. QSL via LoTW, Club Log's OQRS,
eQSL, or via OZ0J.
TF - Mek, SP7VC and Kasia, SQ7OYL will be active as OY/SP7VC from the
Faroe Islands on 23-26 July, followed by an extensive tour of
Iceland (TF/SP7VC) from 27 July to 17 August. Look for activity on
50, 70 and 144 MHz, as well as on 20 metres.
TG - Dennis, KT8X will be active holiday style as TG4/KT8X from Guatema-
la from 23 July to 4 August. Plans are to operate CW, FT8 and
possibly some SSB on 40-6 metres. QSL via LoTW only. [TNX NG3K]
V6 - Cezar, VE3LYC has resumed his plans for the DXpedition to the
Federated States of Micronesia's IOTA groups OC-155 (West Chuck)
and OC-299 (Yap East, new one for IOTA) that had to be put on hold
because of the Covid-19 pandemic. He is now working to finalize the
complex logistics of the trip, which should take place sometime in

V7 - Bob, W0RGC expects to be active as V7/W0RGC from Kwajalein (OC-028)
Marshall Islands for 2-3 weeks starting around 13-14 July. In his
spare time he will operate SSB and FT8 on 20, 15 and 10 metres. QSL

VK9/N - David, VK5DG will be active as VK5DG/9 from Norfolk Island (OC-005)
on 21-27 July. "This will be a purely portable operation", and all
contacts will be made via various satellites, more information can

VP5 - Shawn, KI5PXG will be active holiday style as VP5/KI5PXG from the
Turks Islands (NA-003) on 17-24 July. He will operate SSB and FT8
on the HF bands, primarily 10 and 20 metres. QSL via LoTW.

QSL CO2XN ---> Boris, E73Y is the new QSL manager for Jose, CO2XN, including
his previous callsigns (CM2XN and CM8AKD). The QSL cards are being designed
and Boris hopes to have them printed by mid-August. QSLs can be reuested via
Club Log's OQRS, or via E73Y (direct and bureau). Jose will periodically

QSO TODAY ACADEMY ---> The QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo was introduced during
the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. After six successful events, it is
evolving into the QSO Today Academy. The inaugural event will take place on

WRTC 2022 ---> The World Radiosport Team Championship, held in Italy in
parallel with the IARU HF World Championship, is now history. Yaroslav
Oleynik (UW7LL) and Yuri Onipko (VE3DZ) are the new world champions; once
again Manfred Wolf (DJ5MW) and Stefan von Baltz (DL1IAO) are the runners-up,
and the bronze medalists are Vedran Carapovic (9A7DX) and Zvonko Karnik
(9A3LG).

WRTC 2026 --- > The 10th World Radio Sport Team Championship will be hosted
by the United Kingdom, and will tale place in the area known as East Anglia,
in the East of England, on 7-13 July 2026.
The qualification criteria are still being determined. It is already known,
however, that the first and final qualification events will be this year's
CQ WW DX SSB Contest (28-29 October) and the 2025 ARRL DX SSB Contest (1-2

YOTA CONTEST 2023 ---> The second session of this year's YOTA Contest, orga-
nized by the IARU R1 Youth Working Group in cooperation with the Hungarian
